Memorial and gift donations are a wonderful way to remember loved ones and special people for a variety of occasions. Gifts given in memory of the loss of friends or family are the most common type of donation and are a lasting tribute that can be shared by others.

Gift donations may be given for occasions such as:

• the birth of a new baby
• a birthday of a child or adult
• an anniversary
• an outstanding achievement
• in appreciation
• graduation
• holidays such as Christmas, Hanukkah, Valentine’s Day
• remembering a special teacher or mentor

You may specify how you would like your gift to benefit the library, or you can let the Library Director decide the best use for your gift. (See back of form)
Gifts under $20.00 or that are unspecified are automatically placed in the operating and maintenance fund.

A bookplate can be placed on most materials with your name and the name of the honoree. In addition, an acknowledgment of your gift will be sent to the party that you designate.

Your gift will honor a special person and help the library to grow.
You can play a significant role in maintaining the Marian Sutherland Kirby Library as a valuable asset to the community by pledging your support in:

• Donating to the Annual Appeal
• Establishing an endowment fund in your name or in honor of someone special
• Remembering the library in your will
